biggest jerk for me was in iron hammer. i just got about half of my 15k armor, and i ran out of money, so i decided to do some of the later missions, but i needed to get infused for my new armor first. so i go to iron hammer and form a party, clearly stating that i was starting an infuse-run group. we get a full group and leave. some ele in the group goes off ahead of everyone and aggroes quite a few enemies. i promptly run past him, assuming he was lending a distraction so the warr's could get through for the run.

Me: thx, dude
Jerk: WTF Y R U RUNNING
Me: ? were doing an infuse-run dude
Jerk: NO WERE NOT
Me: ...
Me: i started the group for an infuse rune
Jerk: WELL WE HAVE TO DO MISSION
Me: no we dont, i dont need it. ive already done this mission
Jerk: YOU HAVE TO DO MISSION
Me: whatever, dude. im not
Jerk: YES YOU ARE
Me: oh, well in that case...no
--Jerk quits--

/offtopic whats an aussi? someone from australia? or from the country next to france? i believe its austria in english?

the biggest jerks i have encountered were the normal kind of scammers, the ones offering 5k for a 30 hp sword upgrade and stuff.

Ah yes!

I'm the only ranger in a PuG Hall group. There's also an IWay warrior along as well. Anyhow... after the ghost battle, I start getting crap for wasting all those rezzes or something from the leader. Once he starts pointing the finger at my 'noob'ness, others chime in in kind.

I'm still trying to figure out what they're talking about, when he spouts to the others about me rezzing my pet in that battle.

Um... ok.

The two priceless lines in this encounter...

Me: I don't even have a pet, Sparky.

W/R: I only rezzed my pet once I think...

He shut up.

We proceded to lose the ensuing battle, and upon return to the Hall I was booted before I even finished loading.

Or had time to leave the group.

I had a fun solution to that in EQ.

I had a 58th lvl monk when the cap was 60, he was a melee god. I'd see the beggar saying things like "does anyone have anything they can give me?"

Now, that is the height of lazy begging, couldn't even do the homework to decide what to beg for.

Usually I'd tell said noob beggar that he could see a list of the things I had to give away by targeting me and typing /d for "details".

Of course, former eq addicts like myself know that /d really means "challenge to duel to the death." Most of the time I just let them run screaming but if they were particularly offensive I'd splatter them with a single punch.

Jerk move I know, but I cant stand beggars. In my own defense I was a total champion of the hardworking noob and quite often used my extraordinary abilities to resolve issues of real noobs getting pushed around by real jerks. One of my favorite moments like that was when My GF (a 58 druid) and I were chillin in town and we heard a ruckus of some arseholes about our lvl beating up on noobs pointlessly in a pvp arena nearby and not allowing them to get thier stuff back. She laid all kinda big fat buffs on me and with my magic resistance set of jewelry on and a couple of spare "no sticks" in my inventory those sorry saps (2 wizards and a Paladin) never knew what hit them Well, they did, 'cause I told them, but long story short the noobs were able to go back to enjoying beatin on each other without interference again.
Tricking someone into a duwl to the death seems like lots of fun.
Then They didn't know what hit them well actually they did cause I told them. You have made my day more cheerful thank you

I was in 4x4 arenas with another mesmer, monk and warrior on my team.

So we start losing and eventually only our warrior is alive, he's now up against a warrior and a Me/Mo.

Which one does he try to kill? The warrior of course. While watching the fight you can see our warrior's health dropping slowly, the other warrior's health is at 100% and not decreasing. While the enemy mesmer stands beside them and watches.

So why didn't our warrior kill the squishy Mesmer in a couple of hits?
typical W/Mo teammate: "Because I put Pacifism on him!"

lol
That doesn't meant that 43% of the GW playing population is female.
Maybe there's a bigger ratio in WoW for example or EQ of female:male.

It's the general**gaming** population.
Not GW population.
But many men would say to you they think there's only 18% of females gamers in the video gaming culture where-as in fact we are pretty much 1:1.

Today i was at competition arenas and our team consisted of 1 ranger, 1 mesmer, me (Monk), and an e/mo who uses life bond.
we won around 2 games and the e/mo in my team started gettin c*cky.
so on this third game, i said in general chat "kill this XXX cos he uses life bond". (well.. i was bored and dont like c*cky pple)

in no time, the e/mo quitted from the game. he PMed me and said:
"haha, u n00b good luk getin ur ass kicked"

well... ok i read that and continued with the 3v4 game against 2 rangers + 2 warriors.
and guess what? flawless win. so i PMed that e/mo and said:
"we won it. flawless win"

he replied:
"haha, dont shit with me"

me :"you can ask our teamates if u dont believe"

him :"theyre in your team, duh?"

me :"seriously we do better without you."

him: "right, you do better sucking c*cks. noob shit (with some other profanities)"

XXX is ignoring you.

This morning I was wanting to test out this new build I made (its not very good I know) but it was quite shocking when in one of the competition areas soon as we appeared some one looked at our team and dropped out, then the rest of the did. I stayed behind to try out my build, I went out with some style I think but it would have been nice if my team had excused themselves or said something before dumping me there.
